This past week, Millington Central High School celebrated 100 years of Trojan Football — a full century of Friday night lights, rivalries, victories, and the kind of community pride that only high school sports can inspire. Few traditions bind a town together like football, and for generations, this field has been the heartbeat of Millington on autumn evenings.

I had the chance to capture the stadium from above, watching as the field stretched out like a living scrapbook. From this view, you don’t just see turf and bleachers — you see the layers of memory. The players who gave everything under those lights. The fans who filled the stands, week after week. The students whose high school years were measured in seasons and games.

One hundred years of tradition is no small thing. It’s proof of the spirit of a school, a city, and a community that continues to rally around its team. Here’s to the next century of Trojan pride, and the countless stories yet to be written on this field.
