Finding Your Line of Sight

Focus doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some people define it by how close they get to a bullseye. Others measure it in the quiet discipline of showing up, day after day, with steady hands and a clear sense of purpose. No matter the approach, staying “on target” has less to do with perfection and more to do with alignment.
When I’m behind the camera, I’m reminded of that constantly. A great shot isn’t an accident — it’s the result of slowing down, blocking out the noise, and locking in on what matters in that moment. Life works the same way. The decisions we make, the time we invest, the intention behind our actions… they all add up. Every choice becomes part of a larger frame we’re building, whether we realize it or not.
The truth is, the best results — in art or in anything that requires real growth — come from patience and persistence. It’s the willingness to adjust your angle, to rethink your approach, to breathe before you press forward again. You stay focused not because everything is easy, but because the aim itself is worth the effort.
Whatever your target may be, stay committed to it. Shift when you need to, refine your aim, and keep stepping toward the things that matter most.
Missing isn’t failure — stopping is.
