Holding On to Summer’s Glow

Summer always seems to move faster than we want it to. One moment it’s pool days, late sunsets, and warm air settling into your skin, and the next you notice the evenings cooling and the light shifting into something softer. It’s a quiet reminder that every season has its own rhythm—and summer’s rhythm always feels just a little too short.
For me, photography is about capturing those in-between spaces. The golden hour has a way of clinging to the day, as if it knows the season is changing and wants to shine a little longer before it fades. In that glow, there’s both warmth and nostalgia—a perfect blend of presence and memory.
This portrait was one of those moments. Nothing staged, nothing forced—just a pause in time where light, color, and mood aligned. These photos remind me that the best days don’t need to last forever to leave their mark. They live on in the way we remember them, and in the images we carry forward.
